[He's been sitting with Red in his downtime from trying to bond with Black. He likes his own lion, but if he does take up leading Voltron, he'll have to get used to Black. He's glad no one's really saying outright what he and Lance were doing; if it were just said plainly out in the open, he'd probably die.

[He's had plenty of time. Hell, he's been here most of the night already and they didn't realize it probably. Keith gets up to his feet, puts a hand to the bottom of Red's chin before pulling away to look at Pidge proper.

[ pidge hides the little smile on their face at lance's awkward question. they've all been... working on having keith as a leader. no one is resistant to the idea, but there's always a split second where it feels wrong to them.
it should be shiro calling out to form voltron, not keith.
still, pidge is supportive of keith trying for them. they all need to try, for shiro. ]
I was wondering if you wanted to help me out with the modifications to the teludav.
[He still can't quite get the hang of words he doesn't use often, but. The teludav is important, it's their main mode of transport so he should help. That's what Shiro would do, see the bigger picture and go where he's needed.
[ pidge gives keith a small smile, folding their arms behind their back. ]
It's not super complicated. Mostly you're gonna be helping me calibrate them so we can use less to travel and reduce the strain on what we have. Maybe even make it activate faster!
[ they certainly seem excited about it. ]
Coran is going to have to check it once we're all done, but he's working on some of the other systems and I offered to help him with this.
[Mmmmost of that goes over his head, but he gets calibration and activating faster, so he'll let Pidge guide the rest of this. He nods and moves to the entrance of his Lion's bay.]

[Please let it be holding something or tuning something up, he's good at that, he's had practice with his hover-bike for that.]
[ so pidge may not only need keith for his hands, here. they wanna make sure he's doing okay. they're a team, after all - and keith was kind of thrust into leading them after shiro disappeared. ]

How's Red doing? I know she can be kind of... moody.
[ and now allura is piloting her sometimes, which can't help red's mood at all. ]
[Red definitely wasn't interested in letting anyone else pilot her, let alone someone that caused Keith grief for a little while. He tries to spend time with her as he can to help ease it some.]
I'm still taking her for rounds around when I get the chance.
